Role at a glance

The technical voice who keeps deals honest and implementable.

Catalyst Data (demo) sells a warehouse analytics product. You will be the first technical brain on the biggest deals, owning architecture for VPC installs, data egress, and the security questionnaires that are not copy-paste.

What you will do

  • Lead discovery: map real data flows, constraints, and internal politics before the SOW says “integration TBD”
  • Build reusable patterns for VPC peering, IAM roles, and observability in customer environments (demo scenarios only)
  • Tie POVs to measurable outcomes: query latency, data freshness, and a joint success review that sales can use to expand

What we need

  • 4+ years in solutions, consulting, or sales eng for data-heavy B2B products

How we will interview you

Mock discovery with messy requirements, a security review Q&A, and a POV readout to a (role-play) CIO who hates surprises.
