Role at a glance

Write the docs that reduce support load and increase activation.

Greenfield Education (demo) exposes a public API for content sync. You will work next to PM and eng to ship reference docs, auth guides, and copy-paste examples that are tested in CI, not “probably still right.”

What you will do

• Structure the IA so common paths are short: first request, first webhook, first error, first production checklist
• Build feedback loops: doc analytics, 404/timeout searches, and monthly reviews with support on top confusions
• Partner on SDKs and code samples: naming, error handling, and deprecation notices that do not break silently

What we need

• 2+ years writing API or platform docs for external developers, with samples you can show
• Comfortable in Git, OpenAPI, and a terminal—you verify what you document

How we will interview you

Edit a real rough draft we provide, a session with a backend engineer to clarify an edge case, and a plan for rolling out a breaking API change to customers in writing.
