Build the system designers actually adopt.
Harborline Manufacturing (demo) is unifying three legacy consoles. You will own the Figma system, the documentation site, and the hard conversations when a product team wants a one-off purple “just this once.”
What you will do
- Run audits with engineering on component drift; ship refactors and codemods where the ROI is clear
- Set accessibility acceptance criteria: keyboard flows, focus order, contrast—paired with QA, not tacked on at the end
- Bring PMs and writers into a shared voice: labels, error copy, and empty states that do not read like three different companies
What we need
- 7+ years product design, including 2+ owning or co-owning a multi-brand system
- A portfolio with living components, not just static redlines
How we will interview you
Portfolio review (two shipped systems), a systems critique session on our current file mess, a cross-functional workshop simulation, and a final values conversation with design leadership.
